Cathleen Johnstone, LPCA, LCAS

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate / Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist

Often we are faced with events and life transitions that feel overwhelming. Depression, anxiety, self-doubt, grief and addiction can create seemingly insurmountable barriers, often manifesting themselves in troubled relationships. Our experiences, both past and present, influence the way we perceive ourselves, and the way we move through the world. Finding the meaning behind seemingly meaningless or painful experiences can be the first step toward greater self-awareness. I view therapy as a safe and supportive place, where we can explore the experiences unique to you, so that the doorway to self-healing, clarity and personal empowerment can be opened.
I believe that each of us has a story, and that understanding our own story can be powerful and illuminating. I enjoy working with persons from all walks of life, and I am both accepting and affirming to persons who identify as LGBTQ.
